Wayne Emerson Krause, 69, Meyersdale. Died

July 20, 2014 at Conemaugh Medical Center.

Born in Meyersdale September 3, 1944 to the late

Thomas and Hilda (Murray) Krause. Survived by

his wife Ferne (Maust) Krause. Children: John Krause

and his wife Becky of Meyersdale and Brenda Courtney

and her husband Patrick of Meyersdale. Grandchildren:

Tori Krause and Jacob Krause. Wayne belonged to

the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, the Masonic

Lodge Chapter 554, Past High Priest of Hebron

Chapter 272, Life-time member of the Meyersdale

Fire Department, Meyersdale Elk's. Wayne also

served on the Meyersdale Area School Board and

Union Cemetery Board. Wayne worked at the A & P

Market, retired from the PA Turnpike. Wayne

did custom meat cutting for forty-seven plus years

and was a food vendor at the Somerset County Fair

and the Pennsylvania Maple Festival for thirty plus years.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 23 from 2-5

and 6-8 PM at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday

at 11:00 AM at the Church with Pastor Randy Haulk officiating.

Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
