William “Bill” Andrew Grasser, Jr., 88, Meyersdale. Died August 14, 2018 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Meyersdale, September 5, 1929 to the late William and Jenny (Weimer) Grasser, Sr. Preceded in death by step-mother, Virginia Twigg. First wife, Betty (Woullard) Grasser. Son, William A. Grasser, III. Sisters; Vera Patten and Betty (Perry) Lindeman. “Special brother”, Ray Leckemby. Survived by his wife, Sharon (Baer) Grasser. Sister, Lois (Victor) Harris. Children; Jane (Carl) Yoder, David (Patty) Grasser, Gloria (Steve) Spicer, Mary (Terry) Brown, and Marie (Brandy) Grasser. Daughter-In-Law, Michele Grasser-Norton. Grandchildren; Brian (Marie) Grasser, Evan Grasser, Andrea Yoder, Eric (Amanda) Yoder, Derick (Crystal) Jackson, Shayla (Cody) Lowery, Tiffney (Brent) Maust, William (Kristen) Grasser, Andrew Grasser, Adam (Stephanie) Grasser, and Amanda Grasser. Great Grandchildren; Hannah Yoder, Madison Jackson, Alexis Grasser, Maci Grasser, Conner Grasser, Cassidy Albright, and Greyson Rounds. Special buddies; Tristan and Katelyn Broadwater.  Bill served in the United States Navy. Bill and his family owned and operated Bill's Sweet Shop for 37-years. After retirement he was steward of Charles E. Kelly Post 112 American Legion where he was a life member. Family and friends will be received  on Monday, August 20 from 1-3:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 3:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Kaltenbaugh officiating.
