William Jacob Gastley, Jr.

William J. Gastley, Jr., 66, Meyersdale went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2020. Born in Somerset, October 11, 1953 to the late William and Lillian (Dunmeyer) Gastley. Preceded in death by sisters: Patricia Miller, Kathleen Gastley, Darlene Kerr, and Alpharetta Shaffer. Brother, Fred Gastley. Son-in-law, Tim McGuire. Survived by wife, Diana (Albright) Gastley. Daughters, Hope McGuire and Bobbie (Shane) Whitford. Grandchildren: Kathriene McGuire, Duncan Whitford, Shelby Whitford, and Corbin McGuire. Siblings: Debra Miller, Caroline Gastley, Tim Gastley, Norma Watson, and Carol Stevanus. Numerous nieces and nephews. Bill enjoyed watching football, spending his time with his grandchildren, and talking with family and friends. Bill was a true American he served his country proudly in the Army National Guard for eight years. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., the Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Haulk officiating.
