William Linwood Bucy

William L. (Hammer) Bucy, 58, Altoona, formerly from Meyersdale, died July 26, 2019 at his home. Born in Meyersdale, December 9, 1960 to the late Frank Bucy and Georgia  (Westfall) Watkins. Preceded in death by brothers, Frank Bucy, III and Jeff Bucy. Survived by brothers: Lonnie Bucy, Marvin Bucy, Greg (Cris) Bucy, Kevin Bucy, and Lew (Nancy) Bucy. Sisters: Anna McClintock, Rhonda (Harvey) Brant, Beverly (Tim) Miller, and Fran Stotler. Numerous nieces and nephews. Numerous great nieces and nephews. William served in the United States Marine Corps. William enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
