Virginia Kay (Syphrit) Pletcher

Virginia Kay Pletcher, 68, of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord, January 3, 2017. Born February 8, 1948, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Price) Syphrit. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Sanford “Butch” Pletcher. Survived by her children; Sanford “Dan” Pletcher and wife Mindy of Meyersdale and Melissa Maust and husband Rodger of Rockwood. Grandchildren; Ashley Pletcher, Joe Maust, Kasie and Brennan Campbell. Numerous family and friends. Virginia was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Somerset. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and animals. She loved going to the senior center to play bingo. She was a blessing to everyone and she loved God. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the viewing at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Bob Henderson officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
