Viola “Ruth” Walker, 98, Meyersdale, died August 28, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale. Born May 6, 1917 in Garrett to the late Ralph and Harriet Mae (Pritts) Romesberg. Preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Walker, who died February 8, 1997. Siblings; Raymond, Roy, Rowena, Rebecca, and Rosalene. Survived by sister, Romaine Laughery of Rockwood. Children; F. Carl (Fay Schrock) Walker of Meyersdale, Carol (George) Menser of Salisbury, and Mark E. (Mary Susan Swanhart) Walker of Lagrange, OH. Grandchildren; Kathy (Dave) Onstead, Michael (Shelly) Walker, Brian (Heidi) Walker, Keith Menser, Kevin (Sarah) Menser, Heidi (Patrick) Demoog, and Heather Walker. Great Grandchildren; Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Joshua (Tina), Andrew, Carrie, Alaina, Matthew, Ryan, McKenzie, Megan, Kobi, Korbin, Kiley, Morgan, and Mason. Per the wishes of the family, there will be a Private Funeral Service. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
