Verna May (White) Delawder

Verna May Delawder, 74, Meyersdale, died May 3, 2025 at her home. Born February 8, 1951 in Meyersdale to the late Hubert R. and Hilda M. (Beal) White. Preceded in death by her parents. Sister, Delores White. Survived by her husband, Robert Delawder. Daughter, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Simpkins. Sons, Robert Delawder, II and John (Cheryl) Delawder. Grandchildren; Julia Simpkins, Ethan Simpkins, Calen Simpkins, Logan Simpkins, Kaitlyn Kyle, Bella Delawder, Carter Delawder, and Liam Delawder. Sisters, Hilda White and Deborah Ohler. Brother, Richard White. Verna loved telling stories, teaching Sunday School, going to the Amish Greenhouses to buy plants, and spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
