Thelma Grace (Uphold) Swearman

Thelma Grace Swearman, 86, Meyersdale, went to be

with the Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born

in Meyersdale January 14, 1928 to the late Charles and

Nancy (Nicholson) Uphold. Preceded in death by

husband, Donald C. Swearman, and infant daughter

Kathy Ann, and a sister Ruth Firl. Survived by

daughter Vickie and her husband Edward Mulnix.

Grandchildren; Chris Mulnix, Christina Warden,

and Brian (Ruth) Mulnix. Eight Great Grandchildren and

two Great Great Grandchildren. Brother Elwood Uphold.

Sisters; Elma (Dave) Walker and Marcella Singer.

Grace was a member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren

Church. Grace worked at G. C. Murphy's and

was a manager at the H.P. Store. Friends will be received

on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 11-12:00PM at

the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, the Funeral Service will

follow the viewing at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home with

Pastor Harold Garlick officiating. Interment to follow

at St. Paul's Cemetery. The family would like to thank the

nurses and aides at Golden Living Center for the care given

to Grace and also thank AseraCare Hospice for their care.
