Terry “Chub” Lee Hartman, 60, Garrett. Died August 18, 2018 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born in Meyersdale, August 1, 1958 to the late Earl and Dorthy (Ash) Hartman, Sr. Preceded in death by brother, Earl “Moey” Hartman, Jr. Survived by his wife of 20-years, Jill (Zerfoss) Hartman. Children; Robert (Courtney) Hartman, Dillan (Denali) Wilson, Brittany (Derek) Wilson, and Brooke (Justin) Wilson. Grandchildren; Kylee, Aiden, and Blake. Brother, Douglas (Lisa) Hartman. Sister, Barbara (Bob) Searles. Nieces; Amanda (Wesley) Teets, Cheryl (Keith) Opel, Rachael (John) Short, and Nicole (Ryan) Searles. Nephew, Garrett “G Man” Hartman. Great Nieces; Ashlynn “Stink” Short and Audrey Opel. Great-Nephews; Tyler Opel and Dylan Teets. Chub's best friend, his dog Mojo. Most people knew “Chub” from his younger days of playing County Softball League. He belonged to the Maple Leaf Rod and Gun Club and Meyersdale Moose Lodge 76. Chub loved hunting and fishing. Per his wishes he will be cremated.
Family and friends will be received at the Garrett United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:30 am. The Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Mardiann Vincent officiating. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. (www.mrayleckembyfh.com)
