Obituary

Susan Gayle Cochran 79, was born July 10, 1943 in Romania Meyersdale to the late Melvin Ezra Bowman and Mary Leora Lint Bowman. Also preceded in death by brother Gordon Bowman, and sister Lottie Bittner. She is survived by children Charles Cochran and wife Tillie, Linda Hoover and husband Wayne, and Melvin Cochran and wife Carrie. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Charles “Chuckie”, and Julie, 8 great grandchildren, sister Lois (Jean) Lepley, brother Franklin Bowman, many loved nieces and nephews. She held her family and friends near and dear to her heart. Her life work was the joy in quilting and embroidery and giving away hundreds of her works as gifts for all occasions. She was a wonderful caring person to all she met. She ran a butcher shop for several years in Sand Patch, Meyersdale area. She was a member of Glade City Church where her son Melvin currently pastors. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where services will immediately follow with Pastor Tom Horner officiating. Internment Private
