Samuel Valentino Dirienzo

Samuel V. Dirienzo, 84, of Garrett went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2021.
He was born December 18, 1936 in Somerset, the son of Michael and Frances (DiValentino) Dirienzo.
Preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Dirienzo and great-grand-daughter Alivia VanGilder.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Hazel (Engle); children, Sue (Dan) Johnson, Dave (Sylvia) Dirienzo, Randy Dirienzo (Jeannie Bowers), Sally (Randy) Yachere and daughter-in-law Kim Dirienzo. Grandchildren; Erin (Jason) VanGilder, Marty (Amy) Johnson, Ashley (Adam) Dowdrick, Troy Dirienzo, Dylan Dirienzo, Andy (Ashley) Yachere, Katie (Jason) McCombs, Tony (Marah) Yachere, Cassidy (Mark) Raygor, Chase Dirienzo & Cortni Dirienzo. Great-Grandchildren; Ally, Alana & Alexis VanGilder – Josey, Kylee & Royce Johnson –Maddy Dirienzo – Lylah, Max & Lainey Yachere – Ava McCombs – Bryson, Aleigha & Macie Yachere. Sisters; Adeline (Alan) Landis and Caroline (Don) Harding. Brother; Roger Dirienzo. He was a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and extended family. He attended Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church. A special thank you to caregiver, Chloe Hyatt and In Touch Hospice. At Sam’s request a private service will be held with immediate family.
