Ruth Marlene (Sipple) Wedge

Ruth Marlene Wedge, 84, Meyersdale went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2022, born in Meyersdale on November 30, 1938 to the late Clarence and Jennie (Weaver) Sipple. Preceded in death by her husband, John Wedge, Jr. Grandchildren: Bobbie Jo Wedge, Jared Knopsnyder, and Ariana Berger. Brother, Henry Sipple. Step-brothers and step-sisters: Shirley (Bob) Dively, Mark (Sandy) Lowery, and Roy (Nancy) Lowery. Step-mother, Rita Jordan-Sipple. Survived by her children: Patricia Ann (Michael) Fike, Robert John (Tracy) Wedge, Jacqueline Marie (Special friend, Eddie)Wedge, and Timothy Wade (Lynda)Wedge, Sr. Grandchildren: Jenny Fike, William Fike, Kayla (Doug) Sines, Cody (Brandi) Wedge, Crystal (Corey) Hetz, Timothy (Nicole) Wedge Jr., Nichole Wedge, Ashley (Brian) Gates, and Alyson Dube. Numerous great grandchildren. Brother, Michael (Barb) Sipple. Sister, Almeda (Ron) Miller. Sister-in-law, Naomi Sipple. Ruth was a life member of the Meyersdale Fire Department Auxiliary, member of the Amity United Church of Christ, and she worked at Sheetz for 16-years. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
