Roy Leonard Scott

Roy Leonard Scott, 83 of Salisbury, beloved husband, father, and grandfather went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2023 at Patriot Manor. Born on October 5, 1940 to the late Ruben Scott and Alma (Anderson) Scott. Preceded in death by parents. Mother-in-law, Faye Pritts. Roy is survived by his wife of 6 years, Dorena Scott. Children; Louis (Alicia) Scott of Fredericksburg, VA, Patricia Marcoz of Fredericksburg, VA, David (Eliza) Scott of Quinto Vicentino, Italy and their daughter, Adele, Raquel Atcherson of Rockwood, Jason (Sonya) Hyatt of Berlin, and Christine Wilt of Meyersdale. Nine Grandchildren. Seven Great Grandchildren. Roy was a retired veteran of the United States Army where he served two tours in Vietnam, he was a recipient of the purple heart and many other honors through the military. Roy was also a retired bus driver. Roy was passionate about traveling, cars, politics, and being with his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Amity UCC on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Knight officiating. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
