Roy Rogers Monticue, 76, Meyersdale went to be with the Lord
on January 12, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Scottsdale, September 5, 1940 to the late Edward and Mary
(Pluck) Monticue. Preceded in death by a brother, Edward Monticue
and sister, Dorothy Manges. Survived by his wife Verna (Hay) Monticue.
Children; Marshelle (Bobby) Monticue Bornyak, Roy Monticue, Jr.,
Lester (Dawn Boley) Monticue, and Christine (Duane) Monticue Maust.
Grandchildren; Cortney Firestone, Zachary DeBerry, Travis Monticue,
and Rochelle DeBerry. Great Grandchildren; Hunter DeBerry, Hayden
Locklear, Asher DeBerry, and Zaine Landry. Brother, Floyd Monticue.
Sister, Katherine Collins. Roy was a member of the Church of God in
Glade City. Roy drove the Amish around for several years, and he was a
great father and loved his family dearly. Family and friends will be
received on Sunday from 5-8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral
Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at the
Church of God in Glade City with Bishop B. Boyd Durstine officiating.
There will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers contributions may
be made to the Funeral Home to help with the funeral expense. Arrangements
by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
