Rosetta A. Leckemby, 94, Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021 at her home. Born in Meyersdale, September 4, 1927 to the late Vito Antonio and Cora (Kinsinger) Stangarone. Preceded in death by her parents. Husband, M. Ray Leckemby in 2017. Brother John Harold Stangarone and his wife, Betty. Survived by her nieces and nephew; Teresa (Gerald) Bisset, Rosetta Elaine Foreback, John Harold Stangarone, Jr., and Barbara S. (Kenneth R.) Steinrich. Great nieces and nephews; Dianna (Don) Painter, Karen (Mike Cappillo) Bisset, Margaret Foreback, Michael Ray (Melinda) Steinrich, and Steven John (Kim) Steinrich. Great Great Nieces and Nephews; Magdalene Painter, Austin Painter, Jada Bisset, Angela Cappillo, Salvatore Cappillo, Madison Jo Steinrich, Johnna Hope Steinrich, and Wyatt Steven Steinrich. Very dear and cherished friend, Joyce Schardt. Her loyal companion and protecting Schnauzer, Casper. Rosie worked many years at what was then Citizens National Bank. She also worked with her late husband Ray, at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. Rosie enjoyed music, playing instruments, painting, and attending auctions. Rosie was a member of the Meyersdale Chapter #548 Order of the Eastern Star, member of Amity United Church of Christ in Meyersdale where she served as Church Treasurer for many years. She gave time, talents, and donations to the community of Meyersdale. To honor her late husband M. Ray Leckemby and all who were involved in the Korean and Vietnam Wars, she was part of and supported the Memorial erected on Main Street in Meyersdale. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. A Graveside Service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Somerset County at 204 Whitetail Road, Somerset, PA 15501.
