Leonard Eugene Day

Leonard Eugene Day, 73, Meyersdale. Died

February 20, 2015 at home. Born in Somerset,

on October 7, 1941 to the late William and

Blanche (Wright) Day. Survived by his wife

Rosemary, to whom he was married to for 53

years. Children; Gidget Brooks of Meyersdale,

Tina and her husband Alvin Brant of Wellersburg,

and Lenny and his wife, Debbie Day of

Meyersdale. Grandchildren; Christopher

Brant, Zachary Brant, Collin Day, Alexis Day,

and Lyle Moody. Brother, William “Bill” Day of

Berlin. Sister, Delores “Peg” Hoyman of Garrett.

Leonard was a member of the New Apostolic

Church for 53 years. A Memorial Service will be

held on Sunday, March 1, 2015

at 2:00 PM with Priest Husenits officiating at the

New Apostolic Church 1605 Maplehurst Drive,

Somerset, Pa. Inurnment will follow at a later

date at the Hays Cemetery.
