Larry Eugene Stevanus

Larry E. Stevanus, fondly known as Loaderman, passed away on September 1, 2024, in Somerset, PA, at the age of 74. Born on July 5, 1950, in Meyersdale, Larry led a life marked by a deep connection to the outdoors. He cherished times spent at his cabin in Laurel Falls, engaging in his favorite activities: hunting and fishing. Larry is survived by his wife, Karen Stevanus; his children, Kristie Stevanus, Kelly Fabian (Robert), and Dennis Stevanus (Carol); and his sisters, Susan Murray (Robert) and Roxanne Sanner (Doug). He was a grandfather to Mariah Knepper, Jonathan Fabian, Kaleb Stevanus, Isaac Stevanus, Rayne Stevanus, and Jake Troha. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Eugene Stevanus; mother, Anna Stevanus-Gary; and stepfather, Oscar Gary. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home with Pastor James Martin officiating. Inurnment at Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
