Kristin Lee Schardt-Martin, 42, Meyersdale died August 13, 2024 at her home. Born in Meyersdale on April 5, 1982 to Leslie and Joyce (Rounds) Schardt. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jim and Edna Schardt, Carl and Edith Rounds. Aunt, Carolyn Schardt Jones. Survived by her parents, Les and Joyce. Husband, Louie Martin. The apple of her eye her son, Austin Martin. Brother, Travis (Sarah) Schardt. Nieces and nephews; Samantha, John, Hailey, Hannah, Weston, and Levi. Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Karen Martin. Brother-in-laws, Willie Martin and Tim (April) Martin. Sister-in-law, Sarah Martin. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her pup, Gus. Kristin also leaves behind lots of friends. Kristin's smile would light up a room, she was kind, thoughtful, caring, she touched everyone's life. She was the secretary of the Meyersdale Ambulance Association, Associate Member of the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Department, and Member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. She loved being with her son Austin, traveling, and especially the beach. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Eric Shaulis officiating.
