James Leonard Hutzell Jr., 82, Meyersdale, died February 19, 2022 at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born in Summit Township, October 1, 1939 to the late James Leonard and Wilhelmina (Tressler) Hutzell Sr. Preceded in death by brothers: William, Albert, and Elmer Hutzell. Sisters: Ruth Humberson, Shirley Hutzell, and Mary Meyers. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty (Hindman) Hutzell. Son, James L. Hutzell, II of California. Daughter, Cindy (Jason Havyer) Hutzell of Meyersdale. Grandchildren: Logan (Claire Hotchkiss) Holler, Kaley Holler, Megan Holler, Emily Holler, and Oliver Hutzell. Sisters: Betty (Austin) Hutzel and Linda Brock. James served in the United States Army in Korea. James loved to hunt and enjoyed being in the outdoors. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend David Klink officiating at the Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. Arrangements by the M.
