Harold “Buddy” Edward Walker, Jr., 83, Meyersdale, died June 12, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Meyersdale January 11, 1939 to the late Harold E. and June E. (Long) Walker, Sr. Preceded in death by sister, Joann Long. Brother-in-law, Harold Miller. Survived by his wife of 66-years, Georgia Brown-Walker. Five wonderful children; Robert E. and Sheryl Walker, their children Michelle (Eric) Tolson, Keith ( Missi) Walker, and Christa ( John) Porter; Mary E. and Greg Hoover, their children Nicholas (Dana) Hoover and Ryan ( Abigail) Hoover; Donald E. and Sharon Walker, their children Christopher (Becky ) Walker, Andrew (Megan) Walker, and Beth A. (Tanner) Smith; Karen E. and Brian Putman, their children Breann (Chad Codispoti) Putman, Jarrod (Stella) Putman, and Kelli (Austin) Swihura; Susan E. and Gerald E. Murray, their children Kendra (Austin) Miller, and Renee (Lucas ) Carnell. Great Grandchildren: Hunter Tolson, Kane Tolson, Nik Walker, Cayden Walker, Mady Porter, Cooper Porter, Jase Porter, Emily Broadwater, Landen Hoover, Katelyn Hoover, Madeline Hoover, Ethan (LB) Smith, Augustus Walker, Gloria Walker, Asher Smith, Rhett Codispoti, Walker Codispoti, Roman Putman, and Liam Carnell. Brother, David (Lois) Walker. Sister, Clara Ellen Miller. Numerous nieces and nephews. Buddy was a member of the Meyersdale Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale Masonic Lodge #354, and he belonged to Ironworkers Local #568 for 63-years. Buddy started his career out working for Sidney Riggs and Warren Mostoller, then he became President of Lincoln Contracting and Vice President of Somerset Steel Erectors. Buddy loved riding snowmobiles with his kids and grandchildren, but most of all he loved spending his time at Big Bear with his family.
