Fred Allen Romesberg

Fred Allen Romesberg, 82, of Meyersdale. Died

October 19, 2014 at his home. Born in Meyersdale,

March 20, 1932 to the late Joseph Franklin Romesberg

and Stella Susan Seibert. Preceded in death by one sister,

Marcella Hotchkiss and three brothers; Fay, Harold, and

Glenn Romesberg. Survived by his wife, the former Ruth Ilene Brown

and son, Joseph Allen Romesberg. Three sisters;

Catherine Livengood, Theora Marie Berggren and Elsie

Wilkenson. Fred was a retired Ford technician of 45 years,

working in Frostburg, Motor City Cumberland, and

Meyersdale. Served two years as an MP in Korea.

Fred regularly attended Garrett Methodist Church.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 22, 2014

at 2:00 PM at the Garrett Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will

follow the viewing at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jeri Penrod

and Pastor Marlin Miller officiating. Interment to

follow at Highland Cemetery, Garrett, Pa.
