Frances Virginia (Knopsnyder-Shaffer) Watson

Frances Virginia (Knopsnyder-Shaffer) Watson, 78, Meyersdale, went to her heavenly home on March 17, 2021. Born in Salisbury, July 6, 1942 to the late Roy and Clara (Merrbach) Knopsnyder. Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Watson. Daughter, Judy Shaffer. Grandson, James “Jamer” Phillippi, III. Siblings; James Knopsnyder, David Knopsnyder, Elaine Meyers, Patricia Knopsnyder, Nancy Albright, and Sandra Burley. Survived by her children;  Terry (Karol) Shaffer of Florida, Robert (Cari) Shaffer of Meyersdale, Chris (Joanie) Shaffer of Virginia, Tina (Mike) Fleegle of Glencoe, and Billie Jo (Jay) Hoover of Florida. Nine Grandchildren. Eighteen Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Robert Knopsnyder and Wayne Knopsnyder. Sisters, Joyce Housel and  Carol Nicholson. Numerous nieces and nephews. Frances loved to read the bible, attend church, dance, and being around family. She loved hugging everyone. Family and friends will be received  on Saturday March 20, 2021 from 2-4:00 PM at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, the Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Randy Haulk officiating.
