It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwight Diehl, born on February 1, 1959, in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. He passed away on June 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, friends, and a stronghold in his faith. Dwight was the beloved son of the late, Ernest Holler and Grace Diehl. Preceded in death by parents. Siblings, Ron (Jean) and Connie (Gene). Survived by his wife, Traci Hotchkiss-Diehl. Five children; Travis (Monica) Diehl, Chris (Stacey) Oester, Jeremy (Michael Grafton) Oester, Cassandra ( Jordan Long) Diehl, and Adam (Angelica) Diehl. Dwight was also a proud grandfather to many grandchildren, an uncle to several, and a friend to all. Siblings, Barry “Red” (Mary) Diehl, Peggy (William) Peck, Glenda (Wilbur) Geiger, and Patty (Bill) Bittinger. Sister-in-law, Kim (Harry) Winkler. Brother-in-law, Robert (Lisa) Hotchkiss. Dwight attended Salisbury Elk Lick School District before dedicating his life to serving his country in the United States Army. He worked tirelessly as a member of the United States Army before retiring to a life of leisure with his many hobbies. Dwight attended Joyful Church. Tragically, Dwight lost his battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love and selflessness. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, Pa.
