Donald "Butch" Gene Miller

Donald “Butch” Gene Miller, 87, Garrett, died November 25, 2023 at home. Born in Meyersdale, April 19, 1936 to the late Harry W. and Sylvia A. (Shaffer) Miller. Preceded in death by his parents. Grandson, Jeremy Miller. Siblings; Fred, Jack, Betty, and Geraldine. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine. Sons; Rick (Toshia) Miller, Ronald Miller, and David (Nancy) Miller. Daughter, Karen (Scott) Robertson. Twelve Grandchildren. Seventeen Great Grandchildren. Four Great Great Grandchildren. Brother, Terry (Bonnie) Miller. Adopted son and dear friend, Larry Decker. Butch loved to hunt and fish. He coached Meyersdale Little League for 14 years. The family would like to thank his special hospice nurse, Bridget Mosholder and AseraCare Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 5 – 8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Shaulis and Pastor Tim Vaughn officiating. Interment at the Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
