Donald Leroy Horning

Donald Leroy Horning, 95, of Meyersdale died August 17, 2019 . Born in Meyersdale, February 21, 1924 to the late Richard E. and Daryle (Saler) Horning. Besides his parents he  is preceded in death by his wife, Audrainne (Brown) Horning,  brothers:  Robert, Clark, Duane, and Dale Horning. Sisters: Dalores Kuhn and Loretta Landesman.  Survived by his loving brother, Bradley Horning and sister, Carol Greenway. Children; Mona Lee Oester, Donald (Ken) Horning, and Roger Dale Horning. Donald was surrounded by love from 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.  Donald was a proud World War II Veteran, member of the VFW Post 3504, Meyersdale Lodge F.A.AM, Lions Club Past President, prior Commander at the American Legion of Meyersdale, member of the Amity Church and Hebron Royal Arch Chapter. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 – 9 pm August 24, 2019 in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home where services will be held at   1 PM Saturday with Pastor  Connie Garlick officiating.
