Donald Allen Gary, 72, Garrett passed away on December 5, 2024 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born in Somerset on November 27, 1952 to the late Daniel and Thelma (King) Gary. Preceded in death by his parents. Infant daughter, Tracey Gary. Siblings; Oscar (Ann) Gary, Wayne Gary, Ada (Chauncey) Friedline, Lil (George) Shaffer, Ross Gary, Kay (Grant) Ackerman, Vince Gary, and an infant brother. Brother-in-law, Harry Gindlesberger. Father and mother-in-law, Wilmer and Emaline Marker, Jr. Survived by his wife of fifty years, Debbra Gary. Daughters; Tonya (Michael) Knotts and Monica (Charlie) Sandy. Grandchildren; Jacob (Abby Shuck) Sandy, Tyler Sandy, and Miranda Sandy. A very special friend who is like a daughter, Margie (Donnie) Norris. Godsons; Justin Norris, Bradley Norris, and Jeremy Norris. Sister, Nancy Gindlesberger. Brothers, Leonard (Shirley) Gary and George (Alice) Gary. Brother-in-law, David (Mary Ann) Marker. Sister-in-law, Rita Gary. Numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was very active in New Beginnings Church, he was a youth leader, he loved to coon, deer, and rabbit hunt, camping, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 3:00 PM with Pastor Kurtis Frampton officiating. Internment at Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
