David Calvin Newman

David C. Newman, of Berlin, died January 26, 2016 at Meadow View Nursing

Center. Born in Central City on January 30, 1928 to the late Fred and Laura

(Pepley) Newman, Sr. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Buriak) Newman.

Siblings; Fred Jr., Ezra, James, Edgar, Bobby Jo, Billy Jo, Ethel, and Betty.

Survived by his daughter, Laura Marie Newman and companion Rhonda.

Grandsons; Billy and David. Five Great Grandchildren. One Great-Great

Granddaughter. Siblings; Don, Richard, and Wilma. David's special companion

Mildred Deem and her family. David was in the Navy, served in WWII and the

Korean War. He retired from Bethlem Steel. He loved to hunt, fish, and going

to flea markets. The family would like to thank the staff at Meadow View Nursing

Center and Interim Hospice for the great care that was provided to David.

Per Mr. Newman's request, his body will be cremated, there will be no viewing

or service. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
