Dalton Jay Nicholson

Dalton Jay Nicholson, 84, Meyersdale, died December 10, 2021 at home. Born in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, November 25, 1937 to the late Peter and Mae (O'Brien) Nicholson. Preceded in death by his parents. Daughter, Renee Maust. Siblings; Ken, Glenn, Eleanor, Karen, Sandy, and Mary Alice. Survived by his wife, Carol Knopsnyder- Nicholson. Son, Dalton (Kimmi) Nicholson, Jr. Daughters; Linda (Ken) Fisher and Roxane (Clarence) Baer. Ten Grandchildren. Seventeen Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Arlene DiFebo, Bonnie Miller, Beverly Harbaugh, and Palama Long. Brother, David Nicholson. His best friend, his dog Buddy. Jay served in the United States Air Force. Jay was an avid hunter, loved Nascar and football, enjoyed mowing, and taking Buddy for walks. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Randy Haulk officiating at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
