Charlene Joan (Glass) Sayler

Charlene Joan Sayler, 38, Meyersdale. Died May 1, 2017. Born in Cumberland, Maryland May 5, 1978 to Darrell and Mary Sue (Wilhelm) Glass. Preceded in death by her father-in-law, John H. Sayler. Survived by her parents. Husband, Jim Sayler. Brother, Rick (Vicki) Glass. Sister, Carla (Brian) Geary. Mother-in-law, Joann Y. Sayler. Brother-in-law, John W. Sayler. Sister-in-law, Jan S. (Bill) Layton. Nieces and Nephews; Walker, Paige, Claire, Laken, McKenzie, Adam, Ajenna, Justin, Ian, Emily, Elizabeth, Rob, and Janelle. Numerous; aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. Joan was a avid race fan, she loved Swampcreek Racing and being at the races with friends, loved animals, loved being an aunt. She always put other peoples needs before her own. She gave the gift of life to other individuals by being a organ donor. Family suggests in her memory and her honor to donate to a local charity that was dear to Joan's heart such as; Somerset County Humane Society, Relay for Life, and CORE (Center for Organ Recovery & Education). Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from  4-8:00 p.m. at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor James Glass officiating. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Fritz Cemetery.
