Carl Michael Richter

Carl Michael Richter, 69, Meyersdale, died May 12, 2022 at his home. Born in Grantsville, Maryland December 27, 1952 to the late Carl H. and Eleanor (Younkin) Richter. Preceded in death by his parents. Son, Eric Richter. Sister, Shelby Richter. Survived by his wife, Julie Smiley-Richter. Children: Tammy (Dave) Zink, Jeremy (Carrie) Richter, Hannah (Caleb) Denney, Abigail (Joshua) Guy, Jeremy (Jennifer) Bittner, Brett (Amanda) Bittner, and Chad (Megan) Bittner. Fifteen Grandchildren. Sisters: Elaine Tressler, Yvonne Collier, LaDonna Hare, and Elanor Susan Reebel. Brother, William Richter. Mike loved everything about hunting, liked a good joke, and he worked in the woods and drove truck since he was 17 years old. Most importantly he loved his grandchildren.
