Beverly Rae Resh

Beverly Rae Resh, 61, Meyersdale went to be with the Lord, February 28, 2016 surrounded by her family at her daughters home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 20, 1954 to the late Kenneth R. Resh and Joan I. (Butler) Resh. Preceded in death by her best friend, Sike Gomer. Survived by her mother. Children; Nanette and her husband Doug Johnson of Wellersburg and Monica Wilson and her husband Steven Troutman of Meyersdale,  Tina Doman of LaVale, Duane and Crista Gomer of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jordon Baker of Mount Savage. Grandchildren; Felicia Wilson, Ian Barbour, Alec Gomer, and Gracie Doman. Siblings; Sherry (John) Robertson of Annapolis, Maryland, Gary (Debbie) Resh, Randy (Carol) Resh, and Jay (Paula) Resh all of Grantsville, Maryland. Numerous nieces and nephews. Mom and mom-moms life revolved around her children, family, friends, and work. Bev worked for Quarry Ridge Asphalt in Cumberland and she owned L&G Tax Service in Meyersdale. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 5 from 12-2:00 PM at the Main Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale. The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00PM, with Pastor Marc Valentine officiating. Once you held these little hands and now you still hold these grown hands. Our chain is temporarily broken but will be linked together again someday. Hands that are held together will stay together, our bond is so strong, it can’t be broken.
