Betty Marie (Kemp) Bolden, 96, Meyersdale passed away on August 14, 2024. Born in Preston County, WV on August 25, 1927 to the late Irvin and Lula (Durst) Kemp. Preceded in death by husband, James. Sons; Wayne, Gary, and Robert. Brothers; Robert (Rabbit), Jack, Eugene, and Donald. Sisters; Marion (Sis), Margaret, Loretta, and Jean. Survived by her daughter, Jane (Terry) Smith. Daughter-in-law, Linda Bolden. Grandchildren; Jesika Bolden, Cobenn (Barbara) Bolden, Jarrett (Connie) Bolden, Skyler (Rebecca) Bolden, Jeremy Smith, and Brandi Porter. Eight Great Grandchildren. Two Great Great Grandchildren. Betty loved to cook, walk, and looking at family photos. Her grandchildren said, she was a soft, loving grandmother. Betty passed away 10-days before her 97th birthday. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
