Barbara Elaine (Leydig) Ackerman

Barbara Elaine Ackerman, 73, Meyersdale, died February 23, 2019 at home. Born August 7, 1945 in Cumberland, Maryland to the late John and Idella (Weimer) Leydig. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Chrome” Ackerman. Survived by children; David (Vicki) Knotts, Tammy Ann Knotts, Brenda Lee (Jerry) Gibbner, and Ben Ackerman. Step-Children; Daniel (Sharon) Ackerman, Robert A. Ackerman, and Leatrice (David) Wadsworth. Eight Grandchildren. Nine Great- Grandchildren. Brother, John Leydig. Sisters; Elsie Knotts, Joyce Knotts, Norma Logsdon, and other loving family members. Barbara was a member at Glencoe Church in Glencoe. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from  2-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Connie Garlick officiating.
