Amos S Zook

Amos S. Zook, 93, Meyersdale, died August 21, 2020 at his home. Born May 11, 1927, in Meyersdale, Pa.
He was the son of the late Samuel and Sevilla (Kinsinger) Zook. He is preceded in death by his loving wife in 2013, Annie Slabaugh Zook. Daughter, Esther Zook on July 29, 2020. Grandchildren, Daniel Zook and Martha Peachey. Great Grandchildren, Angelina Mazelin and Jeno Kinsinger. Brother, Andy Zook. Sister, Annie Zook. Survived by the following six children: Ida (David) Peachey of Meyersdale, Bennie (Nancy Lee) Zook of Kinsman, Ohio, Lewis (Hettie Yoder) Zook of Meyersdale, David (Ruth Peachey) Zook of Swanton, Maryland, Sylvia (Bennie) Hostetler of Ballard, West Virginia, and Rufus (Rachel Peachey) Zook of Mio, Michigan. Twenty-one Grandchildren, Seventy Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Fannie Zook and Amanda (Zook) Summy. Mr. Zook was the owner of Zook's Chair Shop for over 40-plus years. Family  and friends will be received at the home of Paul Beachy 415 Kin Mill Road, Meyersdale, Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23, 2020 from 10:00 AM (DST) to 9:00 PM (DST). Funeral Services will be conducted in the Summit Mills Old Order Amish Church on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 10:30 AM (DST) with Bishop David Peachey officiating.
