Aletha Byrle (Christner) Sanner

Aletha Byrle (Christner) Sanner, 80, Cumberland, formerly of Garrett died December 27, 2019 at Western Maryland Health System. Born February 19, 1939 in Garrett, a daughter of the late Clarence and Leona (Haer) Christner . Preceded in death by her husband, Elvin “Jack” Sanner. Survived by her sisters; Eleve Romesburg of Meyersdale, Karen and Paul Meyers, and Lynnie and Ken O'Neil of Cumberland. Niece, Kimberly Romesburg. Nephews; Steve Meyers, Ryan O'Neil, Roger O’Neil; and Tim Meyers. Aletha's best friend and great niece,  Ashley Meyers. Aletha was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Connie Garlick officiating. Interment in the Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  Arrangements by the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.
