Ada Catherine (Shuck) Briskey

Ada Catherine Briskey, 98, Meyersdale, died September 7, 2024. Born September 24, 1925 in Meyersdale, PA to the late Milton and Mary (Christner) Shuck. Preceded in death by husband, James Briskey. Son-in-law, Michael Dirienzo. Brother, Karl Shuck. Sisters; Pauline Nider, Bernice Housel, Wauneta Boyce, and Margaret Petenbrink. Survived by her children; Wayne E. (Deborah) Briskey, of Westbrook, Maine, Kimberly J. Dirienzo, of Meyersdale, and Shawn J. Briskey, of Meyersdale. Grandchildren; Heather Vickerson, Adrienne Briskey, Cassidy (Mark) Raygor, Chase Dirienzo, and Cortni Dirienzo. One great grandson on the way. Numerous nieces and nephews. Ada was a member of Mt Carmel Lutheran Church. Ada liked to cook, bake, take care of her grandchildren, and collecting snowmen. Ada was 17 days shy of her 99th birthday, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Foster officiating. Interment Greenville Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by the M.
